The Troezenii, Pausan. lib. ii.—Pausanias tells us that in Troezen, near the Temple of the Muses, there was an altar on which the Troezenians sacrificed to the Muses and to Sleep, `asserting that Sleep is of all deities the most friendly to the Muses.'
