Patrists Expect Firm Control
Traditional rule (citizens are the servants of the ruler's wishes) is essential in the establishment of order to meet a code of duty, which needs to be clearly and strictly upheld. And is sanity where parent's wishes rule children.

Matrists Demand Licence
Whereas Popular rule (the ruler is the servant of citizens' wishes) is that obtained by mass self-indulgence ( see Democracy Is Insane Rule) where no authority can be safely exercised except to indulge popular opinion. And is insanity where children's wishes rule parents.
