Love
Clive Wilmer's note to Chapter 5 of 'The King Of The Golden River' by John Ruskin

The paradisal valley is an Eden, and the moral of the tale is Christian and redemptive. It should be noted, however, that Ruskin's paradise is not supernatural. On the contrary, it is nature herself — a nature in which relationships are just and governed by love.
