What has sex got to do with the supernatural? Perhaps a good deal. There are various forms of sexual initiation ceremonies depending on the type of witchcraft coven (a gathering of witches and demons) one seeks to join. In most instances the initiate is a woman, though in some cases a man will seek initiation into the coven. Sexual orgies are common and when the initiate is a young virgin, she is accepted into the coven on the first Full Moon after midsummer. The following is an example of what would transpire during an initiation ceremony into the art and practice of sexual black magic. In this instance the initiate is a young woman.
At midnight, during the time of the New Moon, the initiate-to-be and a practitioner of the black arts arrive at the secret location of the coven temple to join in the initiation ceremony. The principle color scheme of the inner sanctum of the Black Temple is red, black, and white. Red attracts Sex Spirits to the assembled gathering and raises the sexual energy within the confines of the Temple. The combination of red and black directly influences the subconscious with thoughts of sex and passion.
Three of the four walls of the Temple are covered with drapes - red in color. Black and White symbolise the two opposites of polarity. The Temple floor is usually covered with thick carpet, black in color. The magical circle of power marks the exact center of the Temple. Inscribed round the circle (at the four cardinal points) are the four Holy Names of God - ADONAI, EMMANUEL, JEHOVA and TETRAGRAMMATON.
In front of the west wall stands an ornate altar. Placed upon the altar are six black and six red candles to illuminate the Temple. In front of the altar, and at a slightly lower level, is a smaller altar upon which are the devices used in a Black Mass. The Black Mass is the cornerstone of black magic beliefs and rituals, and is usually a parody of the Roman Catholic Mass; its purpose being to please the demonic agencies attracted by the abominations performed for them, and to focus the celebrants thoughts to achieve the coven's common objectives. However, to the occult paraphernalia at the heart of the Mass. The Elixer (red wine) which is drunk immediately following the Call to the demonic agencies. The Chalice from which is drunk the Elixer during the Ritual. The Sword, symbolic of aggressive force and the male, and used during the Call to the demonic agencies. The Bell, used to mark the beginning and the end of the Ritual. And finally, a leather whip or any phallic symbol. On the wall behind the altar, watching over the initiation ceremony, is the symbol of Baphomet - the Goat of a Thousand Young. The symbol is comprised of a pentagram inverted to accommodate the head of a goat.
At the center of the magical circle stand twelve men and women. Black robes are worn by the men. Red robes are worn by the women to stimulate the sexual emotions of the men. Facing the coven is the High Priest who, turning counter-clockwise, purifies the air with the words:
"Asperges Me, Therion, Hyssopo et Mundabor; Lav Abis Me et Super Nivem Dealbabor."The initiate is then brought forward and placed on her knees at the center of the magical circle, and forced to perform oral sex upon the High Priest and to give the Forbidden Kiss, i.e. kissing of the anus. She is then forced to denounce each of the world's religions, swear allegiance to demonic agencies in all things, and promise to give freely of herself to the coven. The exact words used during the swearing of allegiance are not important provided they are firm and truthful. Slipping off their robes, the male members of the coven approach the initiate, as the young girl opens her legs to receive them. The ceremony is performed for three consecutive nights, and ends with the saying of the Lord's Prayer backwards.
