'Our Solemn League and Covenant'

The agreement of the English Parliament with Scottish representatives, signed in St Margaret's, Westminster, September 25, 1643, by which in return for assistance against Charles 1. the Scots were guaranteed the security of their own National Covenant to maintain Presbyterianism.
